Our agency is partnering with Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse this year to help provide gift-filled shoe boxes and to share God’s love to needy children in poverty stricken countries around the world this Christmas.  Samaritan’s Purse hopes to collect enough shoeboxes to reach 10 million children this year through the OCC project.
How does our agency help? We will fill as many shoeboxes as we can with gifts of toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and notes of encouragement.  We will be collecting items for the boxes October 15-November 13 in our office.  We will have a collection box out front for our staff and customers to drop off items. Then on Thursday, November 13th our office will close early so our staff can fill the shoeboxes we will donate.   We will then deliver our boxes to their Denver Distribution Center the following week-“National Collection Week.”
We are excited to see how many boxes we can fill!  We will post updates about how many boxes we are able to donate through Facebook, Twitter, and in our November newsletter.  For more information about Operation Christmas Child CLICK HERE
